Job Description:

AOCC Controllers will regularly rotate through different tasks in the AOCC:

Job Responsibilities:

• Real time management of Gate allocation
• Planning of stand, gates, check in counters allocation on daily basis 12/24 hour
• Opening and closing times of gates
• “Gating”  of typical week as seasonal forecast (winter/summer season)
• Changes in gates due to delays, unavailability’s, malfunctions of centralized Infrastructure or special requests
• Coordinating with Etihad and other airlines / EAS ground handler / ADA SMS Slot Management Section for effective management of the resources available
• Processing of SITA messages
• Changes in stands due to delays, unavailability’s, rotation changes, malfunctions of Centralized Infrastructure or special requests
• Verifying and crosscheck data
• Real time management of aircraft stand allocation
• Ensure accurate, complete and
• Coordinate and advice Capacity Planning/Slot Management for approval of extra flights
• Towing requirements
• Ensure availability of latest schedules “Will fly” from Flight scheduling/Slot Management

Job Requirements:

• Coursework in Time Management, Finance and Accounting, HR and Communications
• Must be able to listen and carefully assess information but be prepared to act quickly
• Must be willing to coach and develop team members through positive feedback and constructive criticism where appropriate.
• Calm and logical thinker under high pressure situations
• Must be able to work in a collaborative fashion across departments and stakeholders.
• High level of commitment to see tasks/issues through to completion
• Must lead by example and set high standards for his team to follow.

Qualification & Experience:

• Full graduation of higher school (A Level or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years working experience in comparable position
• Basic  knowledge of Airport Operation, basic airline processes and ground handling
• Good computer skills (MS Office, file management in windows explorer)
• Good communication skills in English (verbally and in writing)
• Profound  knowledge of Airport Operation, basic airline processes and ground handling
• Basic Knowledge of ICAO Annex 14
• Experience with any resource allocation/planning system
