Job Description:

The specific duties of Operations manager include strategy formulating for the respective area, improving performance and securing compliance. This position is charged with achieving targeted sales, profitability, customer service, and market share goals, while protecting the long-term success and integrity of our business. Operations manager works with operation director to deliver and exceed sales and profit targets through leading and supporting Operations with hands-on guidance, insight coaching and training to Pizza Hut operational and training teams. Owning the operational relationships with functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of the business plan.

Organizes and directs QSR operations to maximize profitability while upholding the company`s mission, values, policies, quality, and guest experience standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Marketing in elevating the customer experience and champions state of the art execution at store level
  • Drives Quality program implementation and metrics achievement in partnership with the quality function
  • Oversees daily operations, optimizing schedules and the deployment of the team to minimize labor cost, support all labor productivity initiatives, pacesetter routines and encourages operations leadership to develop action plans to increase labor productivity across all business channel and maximize sales.
  • Partners with the Brand COO / Brand GM and HR Lead to reward and recognize country teams for their results
  • Executes strategy around pricing, merchandising, new products, and promotions aimed to increase efficiency and driving sales
  • Supports all cost efficiency strategies of the brand and monitors smooth execution in the field.
  • Partners with HD Leads to increase sales through this profit channel within his/her cluster/market.
  • Is accountable for team performance – coaches, mentors the team for KPIs realization in line with Americana culture.
  • Partners with other departments to develop and implement ideas that would lead to cost efficiencies and increase profitability.
  • Translates and cascades Americana purpose, vision and strategy execution to the team to instill ownership mindset and motivation to act.
  • Tracks Operations KPIs and support the team in achieving the brand targets.
  • Safeguards food safety and Drive Score improvement in Quality audit
  • Partners with Franchisors, and Americana leadership team on the Brand business growth strategy for the restaurants.
  • Participates in P&L review with FP&A team reviewing financial performance and identifying opportunities.
  • Works continuously to enhance food safety culture with the team members
  • Ensures Americana expectations as regards of tools, resources, systems are rightfully communicated, cascaded for the buy in and adhered to by the team.
  • Builds and leads high-performing teams and effectively trains, motivates, evaluates, develops, and retains talent.
  • Partners with Real Estate to identify stores and area for improvement as part of store remodel program
  • Role models compliance with Americana processes, internal policies, code of conduct and core value behaviors.
  • Participates in market mapping to identify potential new sites as part of business growth plan
  • Works closely with divisions to study site feasibility including site visits and presentation to internal stakeholders
  • Ensures optimum cost efficiencies has been achieved in all initiatives implemented in the field

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Have broad appreciation and capability to promote cultural, gender and religious diversity across the business.
  • Having a broad and extensive knowledge of Restaurants Operations and Ability to lead several operating areas.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
  • Very good command of English language.
  • 7+ years’ experience in Restaurants Operations/Pizza.
