Job Description:

  • Barclays Financial Assistance is responsible for the support of customers in financial difficulty. We cover customers who have a range of retail and business banking products. Our aim is to ensure that we can provide the right solution, at the right time to help customers through their time of need.
  • The role holder will be responsible for delivering professional secretarial and administrative support to 2-3 Directors within BFA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all agenda, packs and materials are compiled and printed before meetings, following up on actionable items and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining departmental records, e.g. employee contact details and email distribution lists.
  • Create and maintain records and filing systems with the teams which may include confidential/sensitive information.
  • Logistics for all meetings i.e. room bookings, VC requirements, both within UK & globally.
  • Managing multiple extremely busy diaries, prioritising and scheduling appointments, often at last minute.
  • Monitor Managers inbox and action as appropriate.
  • Attending internal meetings, minute taking and tracking of actions.
  • Ensuring detailed itineraries are prepared along with briefing packs.
  • Arranging travel, liaising with internal and external contacts for all bookings and meetings.
  • Organising a wide range of meetings, workshops and functions at internal/external venues.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel and comfortable using online tools.

  • Financial services industry knowledge

Qualification & Experience:

  • Previous PA or similar role experience
