Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle – architecture, design, development and production support (during business hours, no on-call support).
• Lead the design and development of key pricing related e-commerce technology initiatives
• Lead in a manager capacity groups of skilled developers/engineers
• Work directly with technical leads, engineers, product managers and business stakeholders
• Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability
• You are enthusiastic and excited about technology
• You are flexible, dependable, and know how to have fun while getting a lot done

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of and working experience with open source software (Apache, Tomcat, Cassandra, etc.) as well as networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components
• Practitioner and proponent of Agile development practices
• Test-driven development, refactoring, automated unit test, integration test, functional test, and continuous integration/deployment.  Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Qualification & Experience:

• 8+ years related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2 additional years of the same experience without a bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years experience developing web application using Java/Spring
• 3+ years with front end technologies including JavaScript and modern JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular, or Node
• 2+ years’ experience leading development teams (technical leadership, work direction, coaching and mentoring)
• 1+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB
