Dubai Metro Jobs 2021 – Civil Technician MCG

Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to provide safe and effective maintenance cleaning and landscaping services for Serco Dubai Metro.
Structure and reporting relationship
This position directly reports to the Civil Team Leader (MCG)
This position does not manage a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning on the building and structure exterior of Dubai Metro such as stations, ancillary buildings and depots as assigned and undertake the cleaning of special areas and at heights where required
• Follow applicable procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements
• Carry out Level 1 & 2 maintenance activities on the cleaning equipment such as the mobile boom, abseiling and high pressure cleaning machine
• Respond to incidents on the building and structure that require specific cleaning expertise in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment’s are in good condition
• Maintain accurate maintenance records of cleaning the building, structure, cleaning equipment and other information using a computerised maintenance management system

Job Requirements:

• A mature, methodical and responsible approach to work
• Ability to work unsupervised

Qualification & Experience:

• Vocational trade certificate or diploma in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent
• Able to write simple technical reports, prepare method statements and drawings as required
• Understand and with experience in adhering to structured work instructions
• Experience in operations and maintenance of mobile boom, abseiling and high pressure cleaning machine is desirable
