Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• As an Industrial Project Leader II, you’ll manage multiple construction projects of medium to large complexity, with medium to large budgets.
•  Manages multiple, concurrent projects of medium complexity with medium to large budgets
• Manages all aspects of project development / closeout with all Facility Alliance departments, H-E-B business units, governing agencies, and vendors
• Develops project scope, budget, and schedule with appropriate internal customer
• Prepares request for proposal (RFP) for medium complexity projects
•  Assists in preparation of project-specific unique Design-Build construction contracts for certain projects
•  Coordinates / conducts project inspections during construction; reports on project status
• – Ensures project cost control with a focus on cost reduction; assists in producing cost estimates and preliminary budgets
• Manages bid process for all projects
• Manages project scheduling and compliance
• Facilitates change management process

Job Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of building design and construction
• Strong knowledge of the industrial business
• Strong organization, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Verbal / written communication skills
• Interpersonal and collaboration skills
•  Proficient computer skills
• Propriety when handling confidential and sensitive information
• Adaptability in a changing environment

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field, or comparable experience
• 8+ years of construction management, or related experience
• – PMP certification (preferred)
