Job Description:

VAT advisory and compliance for the markets and trade finance lines of business for EMEA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provision of technical advice to the relevant lines of business in EMEA jurisdictions
• Assisting in reviewing new products and new business initiatives
• Implementation of best practice across lines of business
• Compliance including but not limited to partial exemption methodologies
• Potentially liaising with legal and accounting firms for best advice
• Other projects as necessary related to the relevant business lines

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working within a demanding, fast-paced environmen
• Be able to work with all levels within the organisation

Qualification & Experience:

• International financial services business
• CTA Qualified (indirect tax route) or equivalent relevant professional qualification
• Good technical knowledge of UK and EU VAT law
• Previous financial services and / or commodities experience preferred
• Ideally, relevant professional experience within either:
• Advisory practice
• Law firm
