Lidl Careers – Creative Artworker

Job Description:

We are looking for a Creative Artworker to join our very successful In Store Leaflets team. This busy team are responsible for designing our weekly in store leaflets which is one of our main trade driving channels. The leaflets are present in all of our stores nationwide and is a great way for us to communicate with our loyal customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating high-quality, trade-driving POS signage for display in Lidl stores nationwide (includes A0 and A1 posters, billboards and a range of bespoke items)
• Working to tight daily and weekly internal and external planning and print deadlines
• Supporting the ATMs with content planning for upcoming promotions and campaigns
• Exporting high-resolution, print-ready artwork files
• Acting as brand guardian and ensuring that the Lidl corporate style guide is adhered to
• Communicating to the ATMs any concerns, issues, missing information etc. in a timely manner
• Creating high-quality, product-focused page layouts for Lidl’s weekly in-store promotional leaflet

Job Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and handle conflicting deadlines
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to work well in a team as well as individually
• Self motivated with an eagerness to learn and develop
• A proactive approach

Qualification & Experience:

• Previous experience using Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Illustrator
• Previous experience preparing items for print would be beneficial
• A relevant design based degree
