Job Requirements:

  • knowledge of and experience with various cooking techniques and preparation methods
  • ability to learn and apply merchandising and sales techniques appropriate to the customer base
  • ability to read, write, do simple math problems

Qualification & Experience:

  • must be at least 18 years of age and
  • three months experience as a Publix Meals Specialist or at least one year’s experience in the hospitality industry and/or completion of one year of cooking/culinary school.
  • not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last year
  • have met the Criminal Background Check (CBC) requirements within the last year and
  • meet the rehire eligibility criteria, if previously employed at Publix.
