Job Description:

As an Allocation & Replenishment Assistant on a fixed-term contract until March 2021, you’ll help us to make sure that we’ve got the goods every time. As part of our ongoing strategy we look to improve the customer offer in already established stores, as well as securing a strong stock package for new stores that are being added to our estate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute changes in the Allocation and Replenishment systems including stocking policy changes in APX and forecast changes in NPF
  • Plan, execute and measure stock builds for new stores, extensions and refurbishments (with guidance from senior team members)
  • Review weekly trading performance closely with Merchandising for all channels to identify stock issues / opportunities with emphasis on timely resolution
  • Create and manage SKU/store level demand forecasts; ensuring that they are accurate, stable and there is consensus between these and financial plan
  • Work within agreed forecasts to ensure sales, stock holding, margin and availability are optimised.
  • Manipulate category A&R parameters to manage the flow of clearance to minimise markdown costs whilst maximising sales, stocks and availability

Job Requirements:

  • Good knowledge/experience of Supply Chain and Stock Management principles/processes
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, replenishment systems
  • Good communications skills at all levels
  • Experience in Supply Chain / Store Stock Management / Logistics / Operations
  • Demonstrable drive & commitment and willingness to learn and adapt
  • Good levels of planning, organisational skills and the ability to multi task
