Job Description:

The role is responsible for providing coaching and training support to all areas of HR Operational Services (up to and including C4 colleagues) to ensure that these teams have the required knowledge and skills to provide timely and accurate HR advice, in accordance with company policies and procedures. It supports team leaders and managers in assessing and developing team members using operational learning and development solutions to support their success in role. The role will also deliver training and coaching to new joiners or those changes roles within the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that colleagues understand the importance of accurately maintained HR systems and coach them for improvements, ensuring that all correspondence is in line with company policy
  • Build excellent relationships with HR Operational Services team leaders and managers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate challenge when needed on areas of focus or development within their teams
  • Support team leaders and managers with assessing new starters against agreed expectations
  • Create and maintain training needs analysis, and provide appropriate interventions
  • Support Team Leaders to deliver coaching and training interventions across the HR Operational Services team, using expert knowledge to coach and train others
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the HR policies and processes across all brands and channels, and be able to provide the necessary coaching and development support to HR Operational Services colleagues
  • Complete observations and quality checks of service delivery within agreed timelines and volumes – identifying any patterns and trends where colleague or process improvements are required, taking action or escalating as appropriate

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to translate expert knowledge into coaching and training for other colleagues
  • Good planning and prioritisation skills
  • An ability to tailor coaching approach to different individuals and styles
  • Role model for customer centricity and building rapport with others
  • Subject matter expertise in all aspects of HR Operational Service provision, including myHR, HR policies and procedures
  • An excellent coach with a passion for developing others and improving performance
  • Strong learning and development facilitation skills
  • Sound understanding of HR technology and competent in the use of all systems used in the HR Services teams

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience in design and delivery of learning and development solutions is essential
  • Comfortable using data and observations to identify trends, patterns and take the appropriate action to improve individual performance
