Job Description:

you will be accountable for all export management within Sainsbury’s Argos. This includes the exports to Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland and all wholesale agreements with various partners across the globe. The holder of this role will also be responsible for the day to day management of milestones and deliverables of all projects within their remit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the relevant Cross Divisional teams as necessary to project manage the successful exportation of all goods for all brands to Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland and Rest of World
  • Ensure compliance for on time delivery and continuation of service
  • Third party leadership and management ensuring adherence to SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Create the end-to-end plan, validation and effective implementation of projects and obtain necessary approval of plans using the approved project methodology at all stages of plan
  • Role model the company and colleague values, working towards the corporate vision
  • Create realistic plans and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Delivery of comprehensive business change plans signed off by relevant governance
  • Delivery of proposed project benefits to business
  • Development of tangible and relevant strategic view
  • Complete the training and development required for the job role and grade
  • To agree and articulate the detailed project objectives, scope and approach
  • To identify the secure appropriate resources for the delivery of the projects throughout the lifecycle ensuring resources are engaged and committed both internally and externally
  • To identify the resolution and mitigating action required for key risks and issues and manage these through to resolution escalating accordingly
  • To deliver all projects on time and within budget ensuring that key issues, risks, dependencies and all aspects of business change requirements of the project are identified and managed

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate calibre with a strong retail background
  • Experience of delivery of major business change projects
  • Experience delivering in International Supply Chain
  • Proven track record of delivering to a structured project framework
  • Experience of managing cross functional projects
  • Experience of working collaboratively with other teams demonstrating great credibility
  • The ability to communicate efficiently ensuring messages are tailored for different audiences
  • Ability to build great relationships with internal customers and stake holders, with strong influencing skills to engage and change behaviours
  • Possess a clear sense of ownership and an ability to follow through tenaciously to resolve issues
