Job Responsibilities:
- The Finance Quality Control/Audit Analyst is responsible for taking the lead on executing quality control reviews for functions within the Finance division.
- The Finance Quality Control/Audit Analyst is expected to ensure the Quality Control program is executed in accordance with the Quality Control Methodology.
Job Requirements:
- Assumes the lead position on a QC review
- Executes testing of key controls in highly complex areas of the Finance division
- Coordinates & executes quality control and/or compliance activities within the Finance division
- Reviews Quality Control Analyst documentation
- Assists Quality Control Manager in the planning of Quality Assurance reviews including staffing and budgets
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned
- Creates manuals, reports and documents and makes updates as needed
- Maintains strong relationships with partners and peers by sharing best practices, knowledge and leveraging experience
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements to advance service quality and/or streamline functions
- Recommends and implements training needs
- Maintains and develops expert knowledge of company and/or department systems
- Follows up on unresolved issues to ensure resolution. Contacts appropriate departments and employees to ensure completion of unfinished items
- Contributes to a positive, ethical and respectful working environment and communicates openly with others
- Models company culture internally and externally
- Participates in meetings and coaching sessions
- Keeps staff informed of any procedural changes or enhancements
- Participates in the selection, placement and training of new team members
- Provides support to department leadership in performing trend analysis, information gathering, performance feedback and related activities
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years related experience required (audit, quality control, regulatory reporting management, process control management)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Proven problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work as an active participant in a team as well as independently
- Experience in a unpredictable and fast pace environment
- Proven ability to be detail oriented
- Strong leadership & conflict resolution skills
- Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
