Job Description:

  • We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented Product Manager inspired by our mission to bring better health and wellness to individuals through the efforts of expert formulators and cutting-edge science. You will collaborate with engineering, data science, marketing, analytics, design and other key business stakeholders within our org as well as partner with groups across Clorox to capture and execute new opportunities in digital.
  • This is a high visibility and impact role: you will drive the product strategy and roadmap for new brands as well as existing brands (including but not limited to Burt’s Bees; Brita; Cleaning/household) in need of new digital experiences and solutions. You will manage a pod of amazing engineers, designers, data scientists, creatives, and more to execute your roadmap. You will not only build new digital capabilities focused on direct to consumer commerce, you will also explore and develop digital solutions to enhance all aspects of the consumer experience. Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Using a user-centric mindset, strategy, and technology and solving problems across physical retail (“offline”), retail partners, new direct-to-consumer experience creation (bringing brands online), and experiences on new digital tech/platforms
  • Being passionate about initiatives that span developing new features to working on robust integrations with 3rd party solutions – being able to do the research and provide recommendations and rationale on build vs buy decisions
  • Embedding with partners across the organization and quickly understanding their business and providing strategy and execution for digital solutions that seize upon their unique opportunities
  • Collaborating with partners within DTC (product, growth, data science, design, brand, etc.) to deliver exceptional experiences and technology solutions
  • Being able to assess both short and long-term impact of problems and providing an approach that balances across a diverse set of priorities
  • Helping manage a cross-functional pod dedicated to the full breadth of omnichannel initiatives
  • Building relationships with stakeholder partners across Clorox’s businesses and quickly understand the key drivers of those businesses and identify opportunities for DTC technology to improve business outcomes

Job Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of prioritization frameworks and the ability to estimate the opportunity size for each initiative you take on
  • A passion for jumping deep into data and the ability to run experiments to quickly test hypotheses
  • Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level — within teams, within the company, to users, and other audiences
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong leadership, customer engagement, organization, team influence, and interpersonal skills
  • Technical and business acumen
  • A curious nature and strong critical thinking / problem-solving abilities

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Experience building integrations with systems to power growth such as email service providers, customer data platforms, social and referrals
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Experience working with an omni-channel business/retailer a plus
  • Experience with application development lifecycle management, continuous integration experience is a plus – You love getting in the weeds with design and engineering.
