Here at Serco we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team based in UAE. This role will support Serco’s Citizen Service, Healthcare and Defence sector which deliver essential public services to customers on behalf of governments, semi-governments and large private corporation. You’ll play a key role in managing a team of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists and Talent Acquisition Specialists who delivers a variety of hiring activities, including High Volume, Specialist and Senior roles to current projects and new business, with a focus on UAE and KSA.

Using your experience in new business and bidding activity, rapid/mass mobilization, managing strategic talent pools, seeking opportunities for process improvements, along with your passion for implementing the latest talent acquisition strategies, you’ll ensure Serco Middle East resourcing strategies are delivered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of leadership hires (for example G19+) to ensure the best quality candidates are sourced, selected, hired, and onboarded professionally and appropriately.
  • Deliver innovative and best practice recruitment and onboarding solutions by keeping abreast of market changes and suggesting and developing changes to processes, practices and policy.
  • Lead Sector participation for Talent Acquisition deliverables and Onboarding support with bidding processes for new business in the Sector. Including but not limited to involvement in; end to end recruitment plans and solutions, capacity analysis, proactive demand planning, recruitment and onboarding costing models, sourcing strategies, salary market mapping and validation of pay rates, workforce and mobilisation plans, talent pooling and positive attendance at bid meetings to support timely and accurate bid submissions and mobilisations.
  • Active involvement in driving continuous improvements to Talent Acquisition and Onboarding services regarding process, technology, and team performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of the wider HR agenda and its impact on Talent Acquisition and vice versa.
  • Demonstrable experience in utilising social media channels to enhance sourcing strategies.
  • Operational excellence training – Six Sigma or similar
  • Middle East experience is essential with a preferred focus on KSA and the UAE.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning, Resource forecasting, scheduling, and work allocation experience.
  • Management experience aligned to Serco values.
  • Level A&B Psychometric qualified is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years recruitment experience with at least 2 years team management experience and at least 3 years of in-house recruitment within a large corporation across various sectors.
