Job Description:

The Job Purpose of this role is to provide support at all stages of the project life cycle, leading the Planning phase, coordinating with different internal and external stakeholders. He/she will also support procurement activities, and maintain effective tracking, to ensure that the projects are implemented successfully in line with the approved project parameters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review Feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED documents or any studies, as necessary, to make comments, that supports the decision making for a project stage gate approval
  • Reviews project charter and organization to facilitate the smooth running of various phases of project execution. Reviews the development of the Project Charter for the assigned projects which includes scope, budget, schedule, procedures, Project Execution strategy, statement of requirements, basis of design and project organization, etc. Front End Engineering Design (FEED): Review, investigate and studies the selection of a design option by assessing the preliminary design, process workflow, material selection, material balance, etc. make comments on the FEED documents developed.
  • Reviews project proposals, recommendations, issues and concerns occurring all through the project cycle from Pre-FEED until close-out of the project including technical, contracting strategy, Project management consultancy, key contract terms and awards, Bidders list for Consultants, Post completion analysis and lessons learnt for improvement for future projects execution. Make analysis and comments that guide help take appropriate decisions.
  • Scrutinizes all technical and project proposals including facility design basis, assumptions, strategies, etc., to ensure the technical robustness with emphasis on HSE matters and energy efficiency at the project approval stage.
  • Supports developing the Departmental objectives related to Gas Business Unit performance and targets and supports appropriate strategies in order to translate the directorate missions into measurable Unit/Department activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Good data collection, reporting and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of interpreting Engineering and Project Management software outputs. Qlik Sense knowledge would be a plus.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 8 years of relevant experience in Technical and Projects Engineering, with a strong focus on the Production Planning Phase in the Oil & Gas industry working with Supply and Demand Model.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably with Project Management skills.
