Job Description:

The Store Floater will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in various departments as assigned by Store Leadership. Duties assigned to the Store Floater can vary by day and will be assigned based on the needs of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage.
  • Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Fill in on any team when requested.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Follow all Whole Foods Market (WFM) guidelines for meeting customer needs.
  • Accurately follow all inventory procedures.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures; understand, meet and exceed regional Cashier Variance Policy (CVP)
  • Use courteous and proper etiquette when answering the phones and pages.
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Highly organized with excellent follow through and attention to detail.
  • Team Members on active Final Warning are ineligible to apply or be considered for transfers or promotions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others and convey enthusiasm.
  • Must be self-motivated and solution orientated.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple roles and projects.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, and multi-task effectively.
  • Must be able to meet physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Team Members with written active Corrective Counseling’s must disclose this information to the hiring leader when they are applying for a transfer or promotion.
