Job Description:

As the Passenger Services Agent you will be required to provide all customers with a consistent high quality of service at check –in, boarding gates, transfer desk and any other designated areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create World Tracer/Air Arabia reports for mishandled baggage or property irregularity
  • Vigilantly monitor departing and arriving flight times, bays and gates to ensure passengers are assisted with the upmost efficiency. Maintain effective communication with gate agents to advise of Lounge guests expected on their flights.
  • Ensure passengers and baggage is processed for the correct flight in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure that all special requests (wheelchair assistance, unaccompanied minors etc. are proactively met.
  • Initiate and verify passenger travel documents, the visa process and distribute all passport visa documentation in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with mandatory immigration regulations and customer airline procedures.
  • Meet and Greet customers, provide assistance to inbound and outbound passengers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide information to customers about various SAS products and services and try to turn these enquiries into sales while maintaining a professional and service orientated approach. Ensure that products on display are in good condition and replenish the same as and when required
  • Report service shortfalls to the management team to enable full service recovery.
  • Manage First and Business Lounge facilities to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for SAS guests to enjoy. Advise guests of all lounge amenities available to them.
  • Accurately control the boarding process, so as to be able to confirm the total number of passengers on board with reference to the security and safety considerations.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English. Knowledge of other languages an advantage
  • Must be computer literate
  • High school or equivalent/ 12th Grade
  • Previous experience of working at an airport/aviation/travel/hospitality industry doing a similar role or reservation, ticketing and call centre experience is an advantage.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be able to work a shift roster
