Job Description:

Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care.

Job Responsibilities:

• This is an exciting introductory experience into the interesting and vital world of TD Insurance.
• You will learn the fundamentals of the insurance business including our Customer Service Center, Operations, Claims, Customer Experience and Affinity Market groups.
• This role will give you the capability to work closely with a variety of businesses areas as they strive to successfully meet their individual and financial goals.
• Your business and customer service skills will be put to the test as you learn the ins and outs of the Insurance business.
• You will also be a TD Ambassador within your Community, attending events and participating in a variety of activities.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
• You must identify as an Indigenous person within Canada (Status* or Non-Status), Inuit or Métis

Qualification & Experience:

• High School Diploma with over 1 year of relevant experience
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent is an asset
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers
