Job Responsibilities:

• As customer shopping habits change, we need to ensure our supply chain is able to respond at pace with improved capability, greater adaptability and flexibility, to meet their needs both today and in the future
• At Sainsbury’s, our Product people are responsible for collaboratively shaping the technology vision, investment choices and roadmap with the Business Owner and Engineering team in order to delight our customers. Bridging the worlds of technology and supply chain, you will work with colleagues from across the Supply Chain division to add real value
• This Product role will be varied and as a portfolio it has many facets from legacy to greenfield innovation. The supply chain capability is a multi-product, multi-partners/ vendor and includes multi-disciplinary in house engineering teams

Job Requirements:

• A Product owner who can guide teams through clear communication and with a purpose of focus
• Able to demonstrate Product ownership experience in an Agile environment
• An understanding of data streaming technologies, Cloud native event driven architectures
• Able to demonstrate experience with various methods and templates for Product ownership under the Agile principles and ideals
• An awareness of modern Software Delivery Lifecycle and DevSecOps
• We are looking for motivated individuals who can manage upwards, communicating clearly and influencing a broad cross section of stakeholders
• We value an eye for business, great organisation and prioritisation skills and we favour an analytical and logical approach to problem solving and an individual that is action orientated
• Having previously worked with internal agile teams as well as partners/ vendors is useful
